Edward C. Cardon
Lieutenant General (Ret.) Edward Cardon is a Senior Counselor at The Cohen Group and a former Commander of U.S. Army Cyber Command. Over a distinguished 36-year career in the U.S. Army, he led major operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including multiple deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
As head of Army Cyber Command, he transformed it into a world-class cyber force, rapidly scaling offensive and defensive cyber capabilities and leading critical operations against global threats, including ISIS. He also played a key role in establishing the Army Futures Command, one of the most significant Army transformations in decades, as Director of the Army Office of Business Transformation.
Lieutenant General Cardon has held several senior command positions, including Commanding General of the 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea, where he led the creation of a combined U.S.-ROK division. He currently serves on multiple advisory boards supporting national security and intelligence initiatives and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, with advanced degrees in national security and strategic studies.
