Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni

Professor Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni is Morocco's Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform. An internationally recognized artificial intelligence researcher, she is leading Morocco's national digital transformation agenda, driving initiatives in AI, digital governance, cybersecurity, and the modernization of public services as part of the country's long-term innovation strategy.

Before joining the Government of Morocco, Professor Seghrouchni was Executive President and now Honorary President of the International Center of Artificial Intelligence of Morocco (AI Movement) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.

She also served as a Distinguished Professor at Sorbonne University in Paris and was a senior researcher at the renowned LIP6 laboratory, where her work in distributed artificial intelligence and multi-agent systems earned international recognition.

She has authored more than 200 scientific publications and has led numerous global research collaborations spanning Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

A leading voice in the global AI community, Professor Seghrouchni has chaired major international conferences, including AAMAS 2020, and continues to champion the responsible and ethical adoption of artificial intelligence in government and society.

Her work bridges academic excellence and public policy, positioning Morocco as an emerging leader in AI, digital innovation, and trusted public-sector transformation.
