Assaf Biderman

Assaf Biderman is the Chief AI & Corporate Development Officer at Kraken Technologies, where he spearheads AI strategy and drives strategic growth for the company's end-to-end software platform that enables utilities to accelerate and streamline their transition to renewable energy.

He is also Co-Founder and Co-Director of the MIT Senseable City Lab, a pioneering research initiative that explores how AI, data science, and urban systems intersect to transform energy, mobility, and infrastructure in cities worldwide.

Previously, Assaf co-founded and scaled several international ventures in demand forecasting, electric transportation, and robotics. He led Superpedestrian, the robotics company behind the award-winning Copenhagen Wheel, and holds over 150 patents and scientific publications.

His contributions have been recognized with prestigious accolades including the Red Dot Luminary Award, TIME’s Best Inventions of 2014, and the James Dyson Award.
