Christina Montgomery is a globally recognized leader in privacy, AI governance, and digital ethics, with over three decades of experience at IBM. She most recently served as Vice President and Chief Privacy & Trust Officer, where she led IBM’s global privacy program, data governance, and AI ethics strategy.

In her role, Christina oversaw enterprise-wide policies on privacy, compliance, and responsible AI, and chaired IBM’s AI Ethics Board, one of the industry’s earliest governance bodies focused on ethical technology development.

Throughout her career, she has held multiple senior leadership roles at IBM, including Corporate Secretary to the Board of Directors, Managing Attorney, and cybersecurity counsel, shaping legal and strategic frameworks across global operations.

A respected voice in global technology policy, Christina has served on the U.S. National AI Advisory Committee and contributed to key discussions on AI regulation, ethics, and digital responsibility.

She is also actively involved in leading industry organizations, including advisory and board roles focused on privacy, AI governance, and cybersecurity.

Christina holds a B.A. from Binghamton University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Known for her leadership at the intersection of technology, law, and ethics, she continues to shape how organizations build trust, manage data responsibly, and deploy AI at scale.
