For more than 15 years, Dr. Winkler has researched, taught, advised, and spoken about transformative megatrends and their impact on organizations, leadership, and society, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence long before it became a mainstream executive priority.

As Academic Director, he leads the design and continuous development of the AI Masterclass, oversees program quality and delivery, and directs speaker recruitment, participant admissions, and the overall learning experience.

Dr. Winkler holds a PhD in Economics and has held numerous senior academic leadership positions, including Professor of Leadership and Strategy and Director of Executive Education at the University of Liverpool, Executive Vice President of EBS University, Vice Dean of Education at European Business School, Managing Director of Goethe Business School, and Director of Custom Programs at THNK School of Creative Leadership in Amsterdam. Beyond academia, Dr. Winkler has advised more than 50 organizations on strategy and execution, ranging from startups to publicly listed companies. Throughout his career, Dr. Winkler has worked at the intersection of academia, business, and technology, helping senior leaders make sense of complex change and translate emerging trends into practical strategic action.
